Summer is here!

The kids are out of school and summer is finally here. Grayson finished Preschool and is officially in Kindergarten while Delaney completed 4th grade and is now big man on campus as a 5th grader!

We finally got our HOA ID cards so we can use the pool and beach club! We took the kids to the beach club a couple of weeks ago and it was fabulous! The splash park is right next to the pool so we don't even have to get out of the pool when the kids go back and forth from the splash park area!!
Emerson had her first real sickness last week and has recovered. She had strep throat and a high fever that kept coming back when the motrin wore off. Her cough has pretty much subsided and she is back to her normal self! It was scary when the fever kept getting higher and higher and of course all of this happens on the weekend.
Grayson had a birthday and turned 5 years old too! She wanted a Princess and the Frog birthday party and a luau so we just combined both!! We had many friends over to celebrate with us!

Spring is here!!

Finally some warm weather has come our way. Ryan is in Boston this week so me and the girls are holding down the fort. Last week Delaney had a school dance and the theme was "Peace, Love and Bennett." Susu came and stayed with Emmy and Grayson while Ryan and I took Delaney out for some alone time with her at the dance! It was two hours long and I don't think we saw much of Delaney the whole time we were there. Dickey's catered hamburgers and chips with all the fixings and after that Delaney found her friends and danced the night away.
Delaney is loving ice skating lessons as well. Grayson really has an interest so maybe for her birthday she can have skating lessons too.
At Grayson's preschool they are having theme days every Wednesday until the start of summer.
Tomorrow's theme is space so I will have to come up with something for her to wear! With all the stuff around here that shouldn't be to hard to find!
Emmy is loving her new hair cut. We cut it short so she looks a little more balanced out!
Guess that is about all for now. We are looking forward to Easter this weekend and hunting for some Easter eggs.

Delaney starts ice skating lessons tonight and she is thrilled. She had a great birthday and got her ears pierced as well. She has been very responsible with cleaning them in the morning and before bed. She chose her birthstone, garnet, for her earrings. We had a simple pizza party at the house with her neighborhood friends. It is amazing that she is now 10 years old.

Ryan has been in Philadelphia for two weeks now. He was suppose to come home last Friday night but he got snowed in and his flight was cancelled so since he was suppose to be there this week anyway he just stayed for the weekend. While he was away my mom and the kids and I took a quick weekend trip down to Victoria to see Meme and Papa and Aunt Judy to check and see how they are doing. Everyone down there looks really good and the kids loved the new apartment!! It was really nice to spend time with my grandparents and my aunt. We also got to spend a couple of hours with Steven and Candy on Sunday morning before we had to head back up to Dallas.

Better Late Than Never......

I found one of my camera cards from Christmas and finally uploaded the pics from it.

We have been crazy busy around here. Ryan was in Philadelphia this week and comes back home tonight. My mom came over last night for dinner and Wii bowling. I think I have her hooked on it. At the moment Ryan doesn't have any travel plans for next week but with the new position that could change at the drop of a hat.

Ryan's birthday is in a week and a half so I have been trying to figure out what to get him. He is so hard to buy for. I think I might have an idea in mind now I just need to work out all the kinks and make sure I can get it. The girls are doing well. Delaney got her report card and was very proud of herself and Grayson is enjoying a new teacher at preschool. Her new teacher, Mrs. Maria, just moved from Orlando too so we talk about that alot when I pick her up.

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Emerson!

We had a great Christmas at home this year. Susu spent the night and when the kids woke up we opened all the presents under the tree. Santa even forgot a couple of things but with his special magic they magically appeared under the tree at 10 a.m.!! It is amazing how efficient Santa can be sometimes. Delaney's favorite gifts were her idog, rollerblades and new razor scooter! Grayson's favorite gifts were Bendaroos, Swim to me puppy, a bike and her princess lamp. Emmy's favorite gifts were her dancing baby doll and a dollhouse with furniture that is taller than she is.

Emerson had a great 3rd birthday as well. We picked up Nana (Diana) and came home to show her the house. We met Susu, Grandaddy and Granny Melissa at Chuck E. Cheese and played for 2 1/2 hours and it was the first time that I have ever been to Chuck E. Cheese and it HASN'T been crowded!! We came back to the house for cake and presents. Emmy requested a Star Wars Clone Wars birthday so I came up with a cake for that which was pretty good!

Delaney's choir concert

Delaney had her first choir concert last night at school. She was amazing!! The kids sang about 5 songs and really impressed the audience. She has a choir field trip today where they are going to a nursing home and singing for the elderly and then off to spend the rest of the time bowling. Emmy and Grayson really enjoyed hearing their sister sing and was impressed that she stood up on the stage to do it!

Tuna Fish........

Grayson and Delaney were both at school this morning and Ryan asked what we wanted for lunch. Emmy said, "I want tuna fish daddy." Why she all of a sudden had this fascination with having to have tuna fish is beyond me but Ryan made some tuna fish and we sat down to eat and she opened her bread up and ate the tuna fish.

I picked Grayson up from preschool and Delaney had early release today at 12:45 so I then picked her up. It is really cold here today but the sun is out at least. Emmy is taking a nap while the other two are playing outside (all bundled up!!) with a couple of girls from down the street. I still have not done any Christmas shopping at all! Ryan and I are going to have to pick a day when someone can watch the kids so we can get it done. Last year was the last year that I could take Emmy with me to get gifts. And I still have to get Emerson's birthday gifts as well!!!

I have been a BAD blogger!!

I haven't updated this blog in so long but I am back!! I am going to try and be more diligent about updates on us and the girls.

WE are finally in our new home and love it so much! The kids seem to enjoy more space to themselves too. They each have their own room but still insist on sleeping all together in one bed! Maybe by the time they are sixteen they will move on to seperate beds but as long as they are close and comfortable then that makes me happy.

Delaney LOVES her new school and teachers. They have really helped her along and she has adapted very well with new friends. The boy next door, Zach, is in her class as well. She is in choir and even has her first choir concert tonight. She is so excited that we all, including grandparents, will be there to watch.

Grayson is in preschool as well. School really is her thing and she loves expanding her vocabulary. She only goes half days on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's and Emmy sure does miss her when she is gone. Wait until next year when Grayson and Delaney are in school all day! It will be time to start Emmy in preschool! Wow how the time flies and the kids grow!

We have the house all decorated for Christmas and hopefully the Christmas cards will arrive this week so I can get those sent out! The kids awoke to snow for the first time last week. Grayson had to make a snowball and was disappointed when she came home from school and the snow was all gone. It has been cold here but sure is nice when it is cold and Christmas time. I have had the fireplace going to keep my toes warm!

WE ARE MOVING, FINALLY!!

I haven't posted anything in such a long time but I have a good excuse!!! We finally are selling our home in Florida and are able to move back to Texas!! When I was little I thought being a realtor would be really cool. I mean you get to look inside all these houses and being the nosy snoop I am that is quite inticing! WRONG, being a realtor is alot more work than just looking at houses!! I don't think you could pay me to be a realtor now! We spent a week looking around and see what we could afford and finally we found the perfect house for us. The best part is that it is move in ready. We love the paint in the whole house and the kids rooms are marvelous. The extra special touches are just an added bonus. The backyard is a bit smaller but we look at it as the kids are growing up fast and the need for some elaborate swing set just does not entice us anymore. It is a good yard for kicking the ball around and playing hide and go seek which is most likely what the kids play these days anyway. Now the real work begins. We go back to Florida next Tuesday (21st) and we have about a week to get everything else packed up. The moving company will be loading our stuff up on the 28th and as soon as it is loaded we will be heading out to Tallahassee for one last goodbye and spending the night there. The next day we will be making our next stop in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and then driving into town on the 30th. The homeowner's have until the 3rd to be out but we will sign our closing papers on the 31st of July. Next week is going to be a long but fast week! With all the things I have to cut off and change and pack it will be hectic! But the end result is something we have wanted for the past 2 1/2 years, selling our house in FL. We will miss friends very much but will open up a new chapter in our lives and be closer to family which is what I have missed for quite awile!

Summer vacation is finally here!

School is out and the kids are home! I have been busy trying to find creative things for them to do this summer and have run across a few. We did managed to try one idea today and it was fabulous. Over here at the movies they have summer movie camp on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. They replay older kid movies and for $3 a person you get the movie, drink and popcorn. As long as I give the kids their popcorn when the movie starts they seem to have something to look forward to. We saw Alvin and the Chipmunks today and I was surprised at how well Emerson did. Now I can put it on my list of summer activities! The best part is they also have this out in Dallas so can continue taking the girls when we are out there for summer vacation.

Delaney starts the new session of gymnastics this afternoon and is looking forward to it. We took Grayson out for summer session since Delaney actually won a free summer session and we were going to be gone for half of it anyway! Grayson will start back up the end of August when school starts.

We are super excited that we have Nana coming this Thursday and she is staying until Sunday. The girls have not seen her in quite awhile so it will be a nice treat. I think Ryan is going to try and grill out while they are here so it should make our week go by a little faster.

So next week (June 15) Grayson starts swim lessons and is really looking forward to them. She goes Monday thru Thursday from 6-6:45 for mommy and me classes. It is the same place Delaney took swim lessons when she was 5 and is only $35 for the eight classes!! I wanted her to take swim lessons this year since we will be in my mom's pool on vacation. They didn't have any classes for Emmy so she can take them next year.

My mom also arrives late next Friday night. The kids are so anxious to see her since her prior trip was cancelled due to her kidney stone! Now that we have that one out of the way we are planning on spending some really fun time with her and then a couple weeks after she leaves we will be out there to visit her and Granny Melissa and Grandaddy!

School is Ending!

Thursday was a very sad day as Grayson graduated from Junior PreK at Starchild Academy. She had the best teacher, Miss Kim. She learned so much during the last year. She knows her alphabet, all her numbers and about 12 sight words! She also knows her ABC's in Spanish and a Japanese song to which I have no clue what she is saying! Maybe she will become a world traveler. As we were walking in Sam's today she was singing the alphabet song in Spanish and I just laughed. Delaney has one more week of school and she is excited that there is no more homework. I purchased our airline tickets out to Dallas today so I have that off my list! Now to get my mom out here for her visit! I think I got her to narrow her dates down so now all she needs is a ticket! We will be out in Dallas from July 7-August 19. A nice long visit so there is no running around trying to get everything we enjoy doing and seeing in just a couple of weeks. The plan is for Ryan to come out during that time too for a short visit and hopefully we can get him down to Victoria to see my family this year! I really hopes this works out. School starts back up the end of August and Delaney will be in 4th grade and Grayson will start Ladybird Academy in their FREE VPK.(Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten)

Grayson's 4th Birthday Party at The Little Gym

Wow what a great day we had today! Grayson's birthday is not until Tuesday but we had her party today at The Little Gym! She danced, ran, twirled, tumbled, hung on the bars and did somersaults on the beam! She had about 10 friends come celebrate with her. Miss Melissa and Miss Danielle did an awesome job leading the party and all the kids. Aunt Hope made a wonderful barbie birthday cake which was requested by Grayson and she had to have pink icing!! We ate cake after all the tumbling was over and took the gifts home for her to open. It is hard to believe that she is 4 years old! She has been in preschool for a year now and has an inquisitive mind. She asks many questions and likes to figure out how things work.

What a week!

We have GREAT news, Delaney passed the FCAT!!! So as far as we can tell there is no summer school for her and she goes on to 4th grade!! We are super excited. Her teacher called up the kids one by one and told them if they passed or not! What a weight that has been lifted off our shoulders. So as soon as I confirm all of the results I can book our Dallas trip for this summer.

In other news soccer is now over for the season. Delaney's team, the Red Bulls, went undefeated this season and were only scored on 3 times the entire time! We had a nice soccer party on Tuesday night and each child got their trophy and plenty of pizza and games to play at Kidtropolis. Grayson got her trophy after her last game on Saturday and proudly carries it around with her.

We can't wait for my mom to get here this weekend. She comes in on Saturday and will be here until Thursday. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can take Grayson to DisneyWorld on her birthday which is Tuesday! You get in free on your birthday and Emerson is still free so that is so much cheaper when you have two kids you don't have to pay for. Grayson's birthday party is on Sunday at The Little Gym and since it is Memorial Day weekend we probably won't have much of a turnout but then again we will have the whole gym to ourself!!!! Maybe the weather will hold off and we can make it to the beach with my mom too!

Mother's Day 2009

We had a great day today! We took the girls to New Smyrna Beach which is about 30 minutes from the house. We got the car parked, all the stuff out and unbuckled the kids when I realized we left all blankets and towels AT HOME!!! So we found a souvenier shop and I ended up buying $50 in beach towels!! The worst part of it all is that I just bought 5 new beach towels for the beach yesterday!! I guess we have new beach towels for the year now! Anyway we finally made it down to the beach, stuck our umbrella in the ground and let the kids go. Emmy does not like the water but loved the sand this time! Delaney is like a fish and couldn't wait to get in the surf and Grayson gladly followed behind. The kids played hard and made lots of sand castles. It was a perfect day for the beach and we must do this more often.

When we got home we all took showers and cleaned up then went to Joe's Crab Shack for a Mother's Day dinner. I figured since we were going with a beach theme what a better place to get some crab! It was delicious and the kids got to play on their playground while we enjoyed our dinner! So after a busy weekend of soccer games on Saturday and the beach today we are whipped! Hopefully the kids will sleep as hard tonight as they did in the car on the way back home from the beach!

Wow what a weekend!

We had a fun and busy weekend, AGAIN! Friday night we started out with Delaney's soccer practice then headed over to Hope and Tim's house for movie night in the backyard! Hope set up this awesome screen and had the projector out and we decided on the movie Bolt! The kids loved the movie and sat through more of it this time. We decided to have all the kids bring their lunch boxes and we packed PB&J's, chips and juice boxes for them to munch on during the movie and it worked out well.

Saturday morning we headed over to Grayson's soccer game and she did fabulous! She even played goalie but I am not so sure that is the best position for her! She had a hard time focusing on where the ball was! I think she is a true runner like Delaney. She had a great time and even saved a goal!!! After Grayson's soccer game we headed to lunch at Moe's and had burritos and quesadillas. We then headed home to grab Ryan's car since he was going to meet the boys after the game down at the NFL draft. Delaney had a great game and it sure was HOT!! She had two shots on goal but they didn't go in! Next time maybe. Ryan and I went our seperate ways after the game and me and the girls headed home. Later in the afternoon we decided to make hamburgers and curly fries for dinner so we headed to the grocery store. At the store I found that Pepperidge Farms make wheat mini slider hamburger buns so we decided to make mini sliders for dinner with our curly fries. We also got stuff for ice cream sundaes for dessert! So when we got home the kids were playing outside and I made dinner and we sat down to eat. I figured I would hold off on dessert until bath time becasue I knew Grayson and Emmy would be covered in chocolate ice cream. We weren't expecting Ryan until later but the draft didn't take nearly as long as he thought so he made it home in time for sundaes!

This Weekend

Well we made it through the weekend! On Saturday we had two soccer games. I thought Grayson's started at 10:30 but when we got there at 10:35 the kids were already playing! I assumed we just missed the first 5 minutes but when the game ended at 11:00 I knew that we were suppose to be there at 10!! Oh well she is only 3 and won't care for now! Delaney's game wasn't until 1:30 but we were having soccer team and individual pictures taken beforehand so we had plenty of time to grab some lunch in between games. We ended up eating barbeque that was so good. We ran into Target to grab Delaney some new socks and then headed off to her soccer game. She had a really good game and the team won 2-0!!! Go Red Bulls! After soccer we came home and I had this brilliant idea to wash the van! Now I was already sunburned but figured what the heck my van is filthy! So I got the girls all in their swimsuits and we headed outside to wash the car when I realized I didn't have a spray nozzle for the hose! So I sent all the girls back inside while I ran down to Walgreens (thank goodness there is one in front of the neighborhood now) and picked one up! I got home and the girls had a blast washing the car and playing with the hose!

On Sunday we went to eat Mexican food and then over to SuperTarget to grab a few things. While we were there I saw that they had the booster seat I wanted to get for Grayson on sale for $10 off the regular price! I took that as a sign that I needed to get it for her instead of waiting until her birthday! All she wanted was a pink seat and that is what she got! She loves her big girl car seat now!

I have been worrying about the free VPK(voluntary pre kindergarten) stuff for Grayson next year. I knew her current preschool didn't offere VPK so we were just going to pay to keep her there since she loves it and has learned so much. Well when I talked to the director they weren't sure if they were going to do a part time program next fall so that left me in a quandry! All the good places were going, going gone! So I found Ladybird Academy and we have friend's that have two son's there (Oskar and Ben) and more friends that their son went there for VPK and just loved it. So I called this morning and they had two spots left so we immediatly got in the car and went and filled out all the forms!! I am so excited that she will be going there when school starts August 24!!

In other news, I took the girls to see the Easter bunny last week and got some phenomenal pictures! There are so many I am really going to have a lot of scrapbooking on my hands!

We also had a week of sickness in the house! First Grayson got sick on Tuesday and Ryan stayed home with her while me and my girlfriends went to paint pottery down in Winter Park. Then on Thursday after I took Delaney and Emmy to the zoo (Grayson was at preschool.) As we were finishing the zoo I was feeling sick so we went home when I called Ryan to come home because I couldn't make it to go get Grayson and take her to gymnastics! I was sick ALL day Thursday and woke up Friday morning feeling fine! Now I am afraid Ryan has a touch of it!

Even though tomorrow is Easter I still have to fill the Easter baskets with goodies and stuff the eggs full of candy! The girls are really looking forward to hunting for the eggs in the morning! Happy Easter to all!

Ok let's see if I can get back to the blogging! Ever since I discovered Facebook I have put the blog on the back burner! I will post some recent random pics of the girls too!

Delaney is on spring break this week so I have been trying to come up with ideas to keep us busy and from me going crazy! The good thing is that Grayson has preschool on Tuesday and Thursday so we can have a bit more one on one time, although if you include Emmy I guess it would be one on two time! Anyway I made up a list of things to do and we will see how many of them I actually get to!

Delaney had a sleepover with Isabella last night and Hope took the girls to get their nails done while Nicholas was at preschool! I know I will hear all about it when she gets home. She always has a good time when she goes over there and I think it is partly due to having a break from her sisters!

We have Easter coming up and I still have not gotten Easter pictures taken! It is on my to do list this week and HAVE to make time to drive all the way down to Mall at Millenia and have the pics made! They are about the only place I go for Easter pics since they do candids and black and whites and I can pay for the cd and print which ever pictures I want out!

Grayson and Delaney started soccer a few weeks ago and they are both loving it! Grayson's team in the United while Delaney is still on the Red Bulls which Ryan helps coach!

The first day of school!!

Delaney began 3rd grade today!! Grayson is suppose to start Starchild Academy tomorrow but we are waiting to see what Tropical Storm Fay does! Delaney was up early and ready to go to school about 45 minutes before it was time to leave! She is really excited to see her friends and get settled into third grade. I think she has a really good teacher this year. She is about me and Ryan's age and get this she is due with her second baby on September 3!!! So she will be out for 6 weeks and then back to teaching!
Yesterday we took the girls' for haircuts! It was Emmy's first haircut and she sat so nicely and she looks so much better! I got a picture from Cool Cuts for Kids with some of her hair!! Now I have a scrapbook page to create!!! She looks more even now with her hair done! Grayson also got her haircut and we just trimmed it up a bit! She is going to look like such a big girl for preschool!

Happy Birthday Grayson!!

Today Grayson turns 3! We spent the day at downtown Disney where we had McDonald's for lunch, a train ride, carousel ride and then chocolate ice cream sundaes at Ghiradelli's soda fountain!! She opened her presents this morning and enjoyed every minute of it! The only way I could get her in the bath tub this morning, (since she fell asleep before bath time last night), was to bribe her with hurrying to get her hair washed so we could go ride the train!!

After coming home she opened up her new toys and immediately started playing with all of them!

HOW TIME FLIES!!!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks around here and it only seems like it is going to get busier! We went to Tallahassee a couple of weeks ago for the FSU spring football game. It was very fun since it was a night game and we didn't have to bake in the heat!! Emmy loved listening and dancing to the band, Grayson enjoyed watching the horse and Laney loved the cheerleaders!

Yesterday Hope and I decided that we would scrapbook and have the day to ourselves! Angel and Sydeana made it over too and we chit chatted the afternoon away and I actually got some scrapbook pages accomplished! We came back over to our house and the daddy's had dinner and dessert going! Our annual Cinco de Mayo party is coming up and Ryan tried out one of his new recipes (which is a big hit!!) and I think Hope may of found a new dessert recipe as well!!

Delaney had her soccer game on Saturday and I got my haircut too! I really need to get the girls in for haircuts but it seems like I always run out of time! I am trying to coordinate our summer trip out to Dallas but I am waiting for a sale or prices to come down a bit! Ryan will be traveling to Dallas next week and then comes home for the weekend and then heads down to the Orlando Convention Center for a few days for work!! So we won't see very much of him after this week! Delaney gets out of school June 6 so she is excited to go see her grandparents and most of all SWIM!!!!

SPRING BREAK TIME!!!

Since Delaney has been off from school this week for spring break we have been busy doing some fun things together! Yesterday we met up with Bella and Nick at the Splash Park here in Lake Mary! Now I have to tell you this is the best place!! Not only is the Splash part of the park enclosed with a child safety gate but there is also a playground and a nice covered picnic area!! The best part is that right now since it is brand new it is FREE!! Now I am sure there will someday be a charge but hey just to get their energy out is worth it! Today we went to the store and then decided to take Ryan some lunch, ala Chick Fil A!! We came home and ate our lunch and then we made some chocolate chip cookies from scratch! The kids had a great time and Grayson has sugar everywhere but you can't expect a clean kitchen when you are making cookies with three kids! So I got the cookies in the oven and then managed to clean the kitchen up! Delaney has soccer practice tonight so as long as the storms hold off that is where she will be off to! Ryan is back from Vancouver and I will post some of the pictures he took there as well! He met up with Dave Cartwright while in Vancouver and they enjoyed a nice chilly day together seeing some of the sites and I am sure that meant endulging in a beer or two also!

Also in big news, I have taken the diapers away from Grayson. When she asked me for a diaper a couple of weeks ago it was then and there that I decided that when Ryan went out of town last week the diapers were going too! So she has been in panties ever since! No accidents at night and only a few during the day when she gets too preoccupied playing! What a big girl she is now! I was determined that she would be in panties by the time she was three! One more check off my list!

THE EASTER BUNNY!!

I took the girls to see the Easter bunny this week! Now last year Grayson freaked out when she saw the bunny and in true form when she saw him again this year she freaked out again! So I didn't make her sit with him and so we moved on to the candid pictures which always turn out so well!! But in order for us to get the candid pictures taken we had to walk in front of the bunny which Grayson was having nothing to do with! So like a determined mommy I dragged her over to where the other pictures were being taken. I got Laney to get her pictures done and soon Emmy joined her for pictures as well. Soon after Grayson decided that if her sisters could play with the bunnies and butterflies that she wanted to try it too! So we got her to join in and I got my Grayson pictures!! I even got a pretty good picture of the three of them together!! After a drink and a cookie we headed back home!

WE HAVE NEW FLOORS!!!!

Wow how time has gone by!! Yesterday we put new wood floors in the living/dining room plus the hallway!! They are absolutely gorgeous!! In the end we spent more than we had intended but I think it was worthwhile, especially if it gets the house sold faster!!!

Last Friday night the Dady's came over and Hope and I gave the girls manicures and pedicures! They got their fingers and toes painted while Nicholas stood by and watched. He was tempted to put his feet in the foot bath but decided at the last minute not to! We had a blast!

Delaney has soccer practice tonight and they won their game last Saturday. We had a cold front move through and the wind was very strong. In fact when we got home the for sale sign had completely ripped off of where it was hanging! Ryan is back in town from Washington D.C. and heads out to Vancouver on Easter Sunday for a week! Then we have Delaney's spring break to look forward to the first week of April! The weeks are starting to go by fast and I think Delaney is counting the days until school ends!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Wow have we had a busy week!!! First off Delaney has glasses!! Her teacher wrote in her planner that she was having trouble seeing the back of the classroom so I got her an eye appointment the next day (Tuesday) and the optometrist said she has 20/20 vision but she has a little bit of near sightedness. She was thrilled she got to pick out some glasses and they are too cute on her! We got to pick them up yesterday after school! They are Disney princess glasses with purple sparkles on the sides!

Also we decided to get some new furniture!! Sam's has two leather couches that we both fell in love with and we decided the time was right to get them. We keep living in this world of we can just wait until we move but I think we are over that now and wanted to spruce the place up a little! We also got a new mattress and boxsprings and I have to tell you we slept much better last night! It is amazing how much better this mattress is! This is our first bed that we have picked out together in the 12 1/2 years that we have been married! Now you can tell how old our other mattress really was! Anyhow it was a great Valentine's Day with the delivery of a new mattress and some new furniture! Now let's just get the house sold and I will be one very happy camper!

Well the week is coming to an end. On Wednesday night Hope, Maria and I took our daughters to see Hannah Montana in 3-D at the movies. The girls had a blast dancing in their seats trying to grab what was 3-D in front of them. It was a nice girls night out and fun getting to doing something with Delaney without her sisters. I forgot to report about Ryan's birthday too. On his birthday (Feb. 1) we took him to dinner and came home and had cake that he had requested. That afternoon I gave him his gift, a gift package to Massage Envy for 3 massages. And I also booked his first session on Saturday morning so he was really anticipating that. He had a great time by the way! That night Kay came over and watched the girls while we went to dinner and a movie. I couldn't get a reservation at Seasons 52 and the line was too long so we ended up eating someplace else! We saw Cloverfield and I would highly recommend it!!

This weekend we are hoping to get the yard done, fix our kitchen faucet and try to find a new mattress for our bed. Those who know just how poor shape our mattress is in will understand how badly we need a new one!!!! Ryan is suppose to be working a 1/2 day today and then come home and steam clean the carpets so keep your fingers crossed that this weekend goes by smoothly!!

Not too much has been going on this week. I do have to report that Emmy is trying to say some words. She will say thank you now and has mama and dada down well. She also will wave goodbye when she hears the word bye bye. Just like the other two she likes to climb. She can now climb up on the couch with no help and if a dining room or kitchen chair is not pushed in she sees it as an open invitation to climb up to the table!!! My computer chair is also fair game to her too. We have Delaney's old mattress in the computer room since the girls have bunk beds now and she figured out she can climb on top of the mattress, step onto the window ledge to get on top of the computer desk!! What can I say she is a little monkey! I also trimmed her bangs!! I was bound and determined to have one of my children have bangs and she is it! I was tired of all the littl wispies getting in her eyes so I just got the scissors out and had Ryan hold her while I tried to cut in a straight line!! I guess next time I will wait until she is asleep but it doesn't look bad!! I don't really have too many new pictures to put up right now so I will dig through my pictures and find some of my favorites! The first picture is me and Grayson when she is just 30 minutes old!!

Well it has been a crazy day around here. Ryan and I decided to get the girls bunk beds from Ikea. So this afternoon we took two cars, and yes we measured to make sure we had enough room, and got the bunk bed and mattresses! Of course it started raining during all of this but we made it home all in one piece. Once we got home we unpacked the two boxes and broke down Delaney's full size bed. Then I ran to Target and found the girls the cutest bedding and they even had this huge rug on clearance that went perfect with the bedding! So after I got home we managed to get the bunk bed put together but during the middle of the process our realtor called and had set a showing up anywhere from 5:30 until 6 p.m. and of course it was 4:45 p.m. One great thing about Ikea furniture is that it doesn't take long to get put together and we were out of here in time to go grab some dinner! Now just pray that we get an offer!! Here are some pictures of the girls new room!

Well it is Wednesday night and I am trying to stay true to my word and update the blog.

Ryan is in Las Vegas this week and comes home late tomorrow night. Delaney has been getting out of school at 1:00 this week and doesn't have school Friday or Monday! Kids today would never survive the school schedules we had as kids!

The Dady's came over last weekend and Hope and I got to scrapbook a bit which we haven't done is months! It was so much fun to be able to sit down and do something creative again! It is even better that the kids will play while we scrapbook too!!

Emerson had her 12 month checkup last week too. She is now 21 lbs 7 1/2 ounces and is doing great. She had her follow up flu shot and one more immunization and goes back at 15 months for another round of her shots. She is growing very well and tries to say words that Delaney and Grayson say. She copied Grayson the other day when she said "Elmo" and "more." Now when she says more I can understand what she is trying to say while the average person wouldn't have a clue!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Happy New Year everyone!! Another year down and hopefully this one will be better on the moving front! I must be having to test my patience because selling this house is taking forever! The worst part is having to have it clean all the time!! I must be the biggest neat freak around now. We had a great Christmas, wonderful first birthday for Emmy and a great vacation in Dallas on New Year's. While in Dallas we spent time with family and found a few new neighborhoods and builders that we like and have put on our list. Now we just need an offer and then we can seriously look for a new home! While out in Dallas we went out to the Gaylord Texas and walked around and saw all the Christmas decorations. We didn't do ICE this year since we had all the kids in tow and it would of just been too hard. Now that we are back at home we have gymnastics starting for Delaney, potty training for Grayson and Emmy just having a good old time. We also have Ryan's birthday coming up on Feb. 1 and then Delaney's birthday on the 22nd so we are trying to figure out what kind of party she wants to have and where to have it! The girls enjoyed the majority of their summer in Dallas visiting grandparents! They had a blast playing in the pool, eating out and doing a little shopping! When we came home it was time for Delaney to head back to school, I mean first grade was a big deal this year! Delaney is back in gymnastics, playing a little soccer starting in September and has also decided to take on the challenge of the violin! She is very excited about the violin, Ryan and I just need some ear muffs now! The best part is to watch her practice the violin while Grayson stands and dances around clapping at her! Also in the news that most people already know is that we are having another baby, and of course like the other two it is a girl. See what I have come up with is that we just don't make boys!! But of well at least we have beautiful girls we will just have a dramatic household in the next 15 years!! We are officially halfway through with the pregnancy with my due date January 9, 2007! She weighs about 1/2 pound right now and has all of her fingers and toes. She is moving around lots just like the other girls did. Hopefully I can get the sonograms scanned in and up on the website soon.

The Beginning of Summer for Delaney and Grayson!

Well it is that time of year again as the days get longer and hotter! Delaney had some birthday money and spent it on a pool and floatie! Both Delaney and Grayson had a blast in the pool! Grasyon wasn't too sure at first since the water wasn't as warm as her bath water but soon got used to the idea! She and Delaney played for awhile before the sun went behind the clouds and the water got too cold to stay in!

Delaney also had a Reading Celebration at school. In kindergarten she had to read at least 75 pre-approved books in order to be included in the celebration. She met her goal through the school year and was recognized along with 6 other kids from her class. The celebration was held at Lake Mary High School. She was awarded by Mr. Nathan, the principal and received a trophy, bookmark, book, free kids meal at Bennigan's and a t-shirt. We were so proud of her that we went out and bought her a brand new dress that she now wants to wear everyday!

We spent one Sunday at Islands of Adventure theme park, just Delaney and mommy! We met up with Hope, Tim, Isabella and Nicholas and we had a marvelous time! We ate lunch at Margaritaville and the kids had a ball at Dr. Seuss Land! All the rides there are created for the kids and we rode most of them many times throughout the day! We also got to ride on Popeye's boat and the girls had a fun time running around pretending to be the captain! Delaney and Bella also rode a roller coaster that was just their size! Of course the mommy's couldn't resist riding with them and I think Hope and I had jus as much fun as the girls!

That is about all for now! We are getting ready for Grayson' first birthday party and Delaney moving on to first grade! The summer is here and we are ready for our annual vacation to Dallas!

Our Trip to Tallahassee

We left last Friday for Tallahassee and spent a nice long weekend away from home. Besided visiting family we also got to go to the Florida State University Spring Football game. This is where the football players get on the field and play a pretend game, offense versus defense. We were not sure if we were going to be able to attend due to weather but we stuck it out and only got rained on a couple of times! Ryan was nice enough and bought each one of us a FSU rain poncho so after it drizzled it felt like you were under a sauna!! That Saturday morning we had a birthday breakfast for Ryan's grandmother, MaBunny. Papa finished building the garden in the front yard so we grilled eggs and pancakes on the grill and had other yummy goodies to eat in the front yard! It was such a great time. Aunt Vicki, Uncle Dave, Kami, Katie, Aunt Linda, Uncle Bob, Nana(Diana) and Uncle Alan all got to join in the celebration. After we ate breakfast the kids played frisbee and soccer in the front yard to get some energy out!

I think Grayson also has her first boyfriend! Nicholas comes over every Thursday night for Survivor and as he was sitting in the bouncy chair Grayson strolls up to him. Now I am sure at some point she was going to grab for his head as she usually does but this time instead of doing that first she petted him and gave him a kiss!

Last but not least I got a great picture of Grayson in the bath tub which I have to share! Her hair is really long now so we get to play with it in the the tub when we wash it! She doesn't seem to mind yet and we get a good laugh out of it!

Spring Break 2006 for Delaney and Grayson

Well me and the girls are back from Spring Break in Dallas!

Delaney was the best flower girl I have ever seen! She was so excited to drop purple colored rose petals down the aisle! After the wedding in Houston we drove to Victoria, Texas and spent time with my aunt and grandparents! It was so nice to be able to spend some time with them while the girls are still so small.

The rest of spring break was spent in Dallas, Texas. The girls and I spent lots of time with both my mom and Granny Melissa, Grandaddy and Aunt Rachael. We always have a great time eating out, shopping and playing with the girls. I also got to spend some time with my best friend out there, Brian and his new little bundle of joy, Samantha! She is so adorable and looks exactly like her daddy! His step daughter Kaitlyn and Delaney got to play while Brian and I caught up with each other's busy lives while introducing Grayson and Samantha!

Also on this trip I got some really good pictures of Grandaddy and Grayson and Granny Melissa and Delaney! Here is a group photo that we took one night out for dinner at Mac's Bar and Grille!

The best story I have from spring break is actually from the wedding! As Laney is standing up at the altar next to the bride Grayson is "talking" in the background when low and behold Delaney turns around and quietly says, "Shhhh Grayson be quiet!!" Grayson got a smile on her face and the ceremony went on without a hitch!

So all in all we had a great time during Spring Break. Lots of pictures were taken and many memories were made! And of course hopefully one of these days all the pictures will make it into one of the girls scrapbooks!

Grayson has now learned how to crawl and pull herself up onto everything she can find! Also she has figured out how to make the sound "d" and "b" so she crawls around saying ddddd or bbbbb! Ryan is just waiting for her to say dada. Oh well! Delaney said mama first so I guess I can give him this one!
